Who issues each certification, what credentials apply, and how documents are handled.
Is iLC a government agency or an official embassy representative?
No. iLC is a private limited company registered in Thailand with the Department of Business Development. We prepare, translate and submit documents on a client's behalf, but certification itself is issued by the competent authorities — the Lawyers Council of Thailand for notarial attorneys, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for consular certification, and each embassy for its own legalization.
What credentials do the translators and attorneys hold?
Translation work is carried out by translators recognised by the receiving system for the destination, including NAATI-certified translators for Australia and translators on the lists recognised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Thai courts. Notarial certification is performed only by attorneys registered as Notarial Services Attorneys with the Lawyers Council of Thailand.
How is client data protected?
Document handling follows Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act. Files are used solely to complete the requested translation and certification, access is limited to staff assigned to the job, and physical documents move under a recorded chain of custody from intake through submission and return delivery.
Where are the offices located?

Can iLC guarantee that a foreign authority will accept the documents?
No responsible provider can guarantee an outcome, because acceptance rests with the receiving authority and its current rules. What we commit to is that the translation matches the source document, that the certification layers required by the stated destination are completed in the correct order, and that any rework caused by our own error is corrected without additional service charge.
How do I start a job?
Send scans of the documents together with the destination country, the receiving authority, and the deadline. Those three details determine which certification chain applies. A written scope and quotation is issued before work begins, so there are no steps or costs added midway.
