Registering a marriage in South Korea as a Thai national involves five phases: (1) collect Thai civil documents (2) certified translation + Thai MFA legalization (ILC handles end-to-end) (3) counter-legalization at the South Korea embassy in Bangkok if not an Apostille state (4) attend the ceremony at Gu Office (구청), and (5) repatriate the certificate into the Thai household registry via Kor Ror 22 so it is recognized under Thai family law.
