What corporate income tax rate does a Thai SME company pay?

A company or registered partnership with paid-up capital not exceeding THB 5 million at year end and revenue from sales and services not exceeding THB 30 million per accounting period pays on a sliding scale: net profit up to THB 300,000 is exempt, the portion from THB 300,001 to 3,000,000 is taxed at 15%, and any portion above THB 3 million at 20%. Companies outside these conditions pay a flat 20% on net profit. These rates are set by Royal Decree and can change; tax is computed on tax-adjusted profit, not accounting profit.
