How are civil court filing fees calculated in Thailand?

Court fees are paid to the court and are separate from legal fees. Under Table 1 of the Civil Procedure Code, a monetary claim pays 2% of the amount claimed up to THB 50 million, capped at THB 200,000, plus 0.1% of any amount above THB 50 million. Non-monetary claims pay THB 200 per claim, and small-claims cases are capped at THB 1,000 in total. Service-of-process and copying costs are extra. The Court of Justice provides an estimate calculator at fees.coj.go.th; the final amount is assessed by court staff at filing. Call 092-0170000 or LINE @THAIL — service fees on request.
