NAATI house registration translation | Household pages and annotations
Translation of a Thai household register preserves its recorded house and personal entries. It should not infer property ownership or actual residence solely from a listed name.

Connect the house page with the required personal entries
Provide the house-information page, relevant personal pages and annotations requested by the recipient. Tell staff the total page count so the quotation can distinguish selected pages from the whole booklet.
If an issued extract is required instead of a booklet, confirm the source type with the issuer. Avoid cropping away the information linking a person’s entry to the house record.
Retain move entries and source address details
Check house references, address wording and recorded dates. Distinguish birth dates from move or registration dates; do not insert a present-day move date from a verbal explanation.
Preserve moved-out entries and amendments. If up-to-date records are needed, ask the issuer rather than making an older translation look current.
Do not turn a household role into a property title
Translate the recorded household role without labelling a person the property owner solely because they are recorded as head of household. A household register and a land title are different evidence.
Listed names do not alone prove actual residence or all family relationships needed for a visa. Check any separate address or relationship evidence with the recipient.
Check personal spellings and the translator’s credentials
Supply relevant English spellings for the people whose entries need translation; do not assume a shared surname. Where required, verify the actual NAATI practitioner’s CPN and language direction.
CCL is not professional translator certification. Home Affairs document guidance does not make a household register a substitute for every type of residential evidence.
Agree page scope while limiting family information
Identify the receiving authority, relevant pages and electronic or paper requirements. Contact our team for a quotation; source extracts and copy certification are separate if requested.
Share only necessary family data through agreed channels. Agree corrections for a replacement source and delivery without a fixed turnaround or a guarantee of address verification.
Questions before commissioning
Must every person in the household book be translated?
Use the actual recipient’s checklist. Identify relevant people and pages before commissioning the entire booklet.
Does the household head entry prove ownership?
Do not infer property ownership from that role. Translation must not add a property-title conclusion.
Does the translation confirm actual current residence?
It records the supplied register. A recipient may ask for separate current residential evidence.
