NAATI LINE / SMS translation | Speakers, dates and conversation context
A chat translation conveys supplied conversations. It does not authenticate accounts, files or a relationship from messages alone. Agree the period and evidence format with the recipient before selecting excerpts.

Define the conversation period and explain any selection
Identify the platform, dates, participants and purpose with the recipient’s request. If translating excerpts, identify the source period rather than presenting selected messages as the full history.
Partner applications involve multiple evidence dimensions. Messages are one possible record, not universally required primary evidence or a guarantee that a relationship is established.
Retain displayed identities, reply chains and timestamps
Provide files or images showing speakers, dates, times and quoted replies. Explain nicknames separately rather than silently replacing screen names with legal identities.
Supply the time zone and export method if known. Do not invent absent time zones or the content of missing media. Record emojis, attachments and deletion notices only as they appear.
Translate informal language without manufacturing intimacy
Abbreviations, nicknames and dialect can depend on context. Include necessary surrounding messages and keep translator notes separate from the participants’ words.
Translation is not digital forensics. It does not certify that images are unedited or accounts belong to passport holders. Source authentication requested by the recipient is a separate task.
Verify CPN and minimise third-party disclosures
If NAATI is required, check the actual practitioner’s CPN, certification and language direction. CCL is not professional translator certification.
Agree private transfer channels. Never share LINE passwords or OTPs. Check recipient rules before redacting third-party information and make redactions visible rather than changing the context.
Quote the actual conversation volume and delivery format
Specify files, period, language direction and whether the work is full translation or clearly scoped excerpts. Audio transcription, text within images and authenticity checks require separate agreement.
Contact our team for a quotation. Agree source alignment, corrections and delivery. No fixed completion time or partner visa result is promised.
Questions before commissioning
Can only affectionate messages be translated?
Agree the evidence scope and label excerpts. Do not remove context or present selections as the complete conversation.
Does the translator authenticate a LINE account?
No. Translation conveys the supplied names and messages, not account ownership or file authenticity.
Should I share my password to retrieve messages?
No. Never share passwords or OTPs. Export records yourself and send necessary files through agreed channels.
