NAATI bank statement translation | Transactions and original currency

Translation preserves account information and transactions issued by the bank. It does not create a balance or determine whether an applicant satisfies a financial requirement.

Illustration of document preparation, not actual company personnel or official records
Generated illustration, not evidence of actual personnel, premises or official documents.

Use the requested period rather than a universal six-month package

Provide the actual request and complete statements showing bank, account holder, dates and page numbers. Balance certificates and transaction statements are different records; identify each use.

Where English bank records are available, check them against recipient requirements before ordering more translation. Thai text does not establish that every record needs translation.

Preserve debits, credits and the currency actually recorded

Retain dates, descriptions, debits, credits and balances. Do not remove withdrawals or select only high-balance pages. Identify missing pages and obtain readable copies.

Do not insert AUD amounts using a translator-chosen rate. If separate conversion is requested, agree rate evidence, date and responsibility independently of the source translation.

Distinguish transaction history from access-to-funds evidence

Statements record activity for a period; they do not explain ownership or the origin of every deposit. Income, sponsorship or other evidence may be needed separately.

Consult current Home Affairs financial-capacity requirements for a student visa alongside the checklist. Translation does not certify a threshold, access to funds or eligibility; an old online amount is not a current assessment.

Verify the practitioner without sharing bank access

Where NAATI is specified, check the translator’s CPN, certification and language direction. CCL is not professional translator certification; visa guidance is not a bank’s checklist.

Use agreed channels, never banking passwords, PINs or OTPs. Check redaction with the recipient and make source omissions apparent rather than concealing transactions.

Quote the actual tables and records to be translated

Specify accounts, pages, language direction and files. Fresh bank records and copy certification are separate tasks, not automatic inclusions.

Contact our team for a quotation. Agree layout, balance checking and corrections if the period changes. No loan approval or application outcome is guaranteed.

Questions before commissioning

Is a six-month statement always needed?

No. Use the actual reporting period and evidence requested rather than one period for all applications.

Will the translation add AUD balances?

It preserves source currency. Any conversion must be distinct from bank statements and agreed with rate evidence.

Should I provide online banking credentials?

No. Never share passwords, PINs or OTPs. Obtain records yourself and send only necessary documents.
