NAATI work visa 482/186 translations | Employer and qualification records
Employer-sponsored translation starts with the current application and evidence request. A degree, contract and three payslips are not a complete universal set. Translation is not employer nomination or visa lodgement.

Identify the current 482 program and application stage
Consult current Skills in Demand visa (subclass 482) guidance rather than relying on the former Temporary Skill Shortage label. Employer Nomination Scheme 186 is a separate application with stream-specific requirements.
Separate employer, assessor and Home Affairs requests. State whether each record supports assessment, nomination or the applicant’s visa; these stages are not interchangeable.
Preserve employer-issued duties and employment periods
Supply complete references and relevant attachments. Check employer names, roles, dates, hours and signatories without inserting occupational duties or upgrading part-time work to full-time.
Contracts, references and payment records establish different matters. Obtain issuer clarification for discrepancies rather than making translations silently agree.
Inventory qualifications, remuneration and personal evidence separately
List awards, transcripts, payslips, tax records and name-history evidence as requested. Do not impose three months of payslips on every applicant. Check existing English records before commissioning duplicate translations.
Police and dependant evidence require their own application-specific checks. Translation does not confirm skills, experience or sponsor suitability.
Verify the practitioner without implying nomination approval
Where NAATI is requested, check the actual practitioner’s CPN, certification and language direction. CCL is not professional translator certification.
A translation declaration is not sponsor approval, nomination approval or a visa outcome. Copy certification and legalisation are separate recipient-dependent questions.
Agree deliverables without promising a 482 or 186 outcome
Supply the inventory, latest versions, recipient and language direction. Agree full records versus clearly identified excerpts and amendments following new requests.

Questions before commissioning
Can a former TSS checklist be treated as current?
Check current Skills in Demand 482 guidance and the actual application. A legacy bundle does not establish completeness.
Are three months of payslips always required?
Use the period requested by the recipient or assessor rather than an old package label.
Does the set include employer nomination?
Not automatically. Nomination is a separate task requiring its own agreed scope.
