Overview

Per the Family Registration Act 1935 §10, foreign spouses must appear with an interpreter who witnesses and signs the register. ILC dispatches interpreters to district offices (Bang Rak, Pathumwan, Chatuchak, etc.), Immigration (Chaeng Watthana), MFA Consular, and every Bangkok-area embassy. Covers marriage, divorce, child recognition, family status records, dependent visas, Non-B/Non-O interviews and investigator questioning. Fees on request including witness signature per government protocol.

No — any adult fluent in Thai and the foreign language who is not the spouse qualifies. Our interpreters carry ID cards and credentials.
