Our Ministry of Justice translator team keeps priority capacity available Monday to Saturday during business hours, with a capped daily volume so that speed never comes out of the review process — urgent files still pass both the linguistic and the legal terminology round. Work received early in the day is normally returned the same evening; work received in the afternoon is returned the following morning. Priority handling carries a surcharge over the standard page rate, quoted before we begin so there are no surprises. Because capacity is capped, call first rather than emailing when the deadline is the same day: we will tell you honestly within minutes whether we can meet it, and if we cannot, we will say so instead of accepting the job and missing it.

- How is the priority surcharge calculated?
- It is a percentage uplift on the standard page rate for the document type, confirmed in writing before we start.
- Does urgent work receive less review?
- No. Urgent files pass the same two review rounds. We control quality by capping how many urgent pages we accept per day rather than by shortening the process.
